About the VISION Conference
What began in 2016 as the Region 6 VISION (Value, Inspire, Share, Insight, Opportunity, Network) Conference – established by students for students and their adult advisors in the states of Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico and Oklahoma – has grown to welcome all states to this National Conference for Student Council leaders. It emphasizes peer-to-peer learning through networking, student-led roundtables, school projects Gallery Walk, national motivational speakers, leadership skill training, hands-on community service, and more.
Starting in 2026, the VISION National Conference for Student Council Leaders has become a program of NASSCED.
2026 VISION National Conference for Student Council Leaders
The 2026 VISION National Conference for Student Council Leaders is being hosted by Pinkerton Academy in Derry, New Hampshire, June 22-24, 2026.
Pinkerton Academy previously hosted the NASC National Conference in 2017, and is excited to welcome the nation back to their 120-acre campus, the largest independent high school in the United States—founded more than 210 years ago!

VISION 2027 and Beyond
The National Asscoiation of State Student Council Executive Directors will coordinate with schools and state association throughout the United States to host an annual conference for students and advisors during the summer of each year. This conference is expected to be a student-led conference providing keynote speakers, workshops for leadership skills and a time to network with other student councils. A school or state association interested in hosting this extraordinary event should complete the application.
The 2027 conference will be at Seckinger High School in Georgia, June 22-24. Applications have been accepted and are being reviewed for the 2028 host.
