The National Association of State Student Council Executive Directors (NASSCED) is an association of individuals from across the United States who work with their respective State Student Council Associations to further leadership development among middle and high school students.

Our members work hard to provide outstanding leadership experiences at the local, state and national level to thousands of student leaders. For some of our members, being a State Executive Director is their full time job. However, many of them serve in this role while also working as a full time classroom teacher or school administrator. In either case, our members share a unique passion for student leadership training and development.

As their professional association, NASSCED strives to be an indispensable resource to each of our members, providing them and the State Associations they serve with the knowledge and resources, inspiration and ideas to make such outstanding leadership experiences a reality in their respective states.

If you are a State Executive Director, we thank you for all your efforts working with your State Student Council Association to make a positive difference. Your passion not only impacts the students with whom you directly work, but also thousands of others who benefit from the ripple effect of all the great things student leaders across your state accomplish.

If you are not a State Executive Director but have an interest in student leadership, we encourage you to visit our directory and contact your State Executive Director to learn more about the opportunities to get involved in your State Student Council Association.
